According to the date specified by Interplay, MDK 2 for Wii will be released on May 9th.

'Nintendo Everything' have just published a trailer for Beamdog's port of 'MDK2 Wii-Ware' coming out soon. The trailer demonstrates that MDK2 is going to be an incredibly faithful port as we've previously thought, even with the comic book influenced cut-scenes. Hopefully we'll be hearing more and seeing more footage of 'MDK2 Wii-Ware' soon.
